The Somersworth Professional Firefighters Charitable Association is proud to present a scholarship in honor of FF Brian Flood, a dedicated professional who lived his life in service to others before passing away in 2023. Brian honorably served his country as a United States Marine Corps veteran and went on to protect his local community as a skilled firefighter and EMT with the city of Somersworth. This award celebrates his enduring legacy of selflessness, bravery, and profound civic duty. It is awarded to greater-Seacoast area high school seniors that want to pursue a career in Fire, Police, EMS, or healthcare. The scholarship committee looks for applicants who exhibit the same fundamental values of integrity and humanitarianism as they pursue their academic and career goals in public safety.
